At Yellowline, we believe that young Nigerians and Africans at large can retire in 10 years—not just with savings, but with bold business moves, smart investing, and community-powered support.
Our vision?
By 2035, we aim to become the largest private business club of young African centi-millionaires and billionaires—a network of individuals with a shared history of doing business and building wealth together.
To achieve this, we’ve created a powerful, community-first funding tool: The Yellow Paper.
What Exactly Is a Yellow Paper?
A Yellow Paper is Yellowline’s version of a business loan agreement, designed specifically for Nigerian entrepreneurs and Yellowline Club members.
Think of it as a community-issued commercial paper, but exclusive to the Yellowline ecosystem.
Here’s the key difference:
Instead of borrowing from banks or the public, the money comes from the Yellowline Decade Fund—a high-growth target date fund dedicated to helping our members reach financial freedom within 10 years.
How It Works (Made Simple)
1. Member Submits a Loan Request
A Yellowline Club member applies for a business loan by submitting:
- The amount they need
- What the funds are for
- Their business plan or proposal and supporting documents
- How and when they plan to repay
2. Management Review
We evaluate:
- Fund availability
- Risk level
- Impact of the business
If approved, a Yellow Paper is issued, formally stating the loan terms.
3. Disbursement from the Yellowline Decade Fund
We allocate up to 35% of the fund toward business loans for our members.
4. Community Top-Up (if needed)
If the total amount needed cannot be funded by the Fund alone, the Yellow Paper is made open only to other club members.
These members can choose to contribute additional funding, essentially co-financing the loan under the same agreed Yellow Paper terms.
Why This Matters (Especially in Nigeria)
- Internal and Private: Funding stays within the Yellowline community. No public access.
- Builds Business Reputation: Every loan adds to your credibility and track record inside the Club and your reputation even outside the Club.
- Creates a Credit System: The more responsibly you borrow and repay, the higher your credit rating.
- Accelerates Your Wealth Journey: Interest earned doesn’t go to outsiders—it goes back into the Yellowline Decade Fund to support other members and grow your own wealth.

Yellow Paper is designed to solve this:
- Faster approval process
- Transparent terms
- Access to a private support network
- A trackable credit history that stays with you in the club
- Reinvestment of interest into your community—not into the hands of banks
This is modern funding, Nigerian-style, backed by a collective of business owners, investors, and future billionaires committed to helping each other win.
In Simple Terms:
The Yellow Paper is Yellowline’s way of helping you borrow smartly, build credibility, and grow your business with support from a like-minded community.
It’s not just funding. It’s:
- Business mentorship
- Credit building
- Interest reinvestment
